for families and honeymooners seeking peace and quiet. There is
a big cross section of accommodation available including the imposing
Imperial Boat House and the opulent White House, some good restaurants
and a few shops on the road. Across from the beach is Faan Yai
Island, which can be reached on foot at low tide. There are no
noisy pubs or clubs, although at night the restaurants spread
out onto the sands transforming the whole beach into a romantic
dining area.
